two week-ends nerikomi class in french. In level one you will learn a large array of patterns by stacking, collage, and how to make basic pottery objects with nerikomi slabs. You will also learn pinching and coiling techniques to use nerikomi scraps in a creative and fun way!

individual projects: 

since it's a 2 days class, we must make simple pieces that don't require much assembling since most of our time will be dedicated to nerikomi techniques. Therefore, we will only make small to medium dishes and pinched pots. You can bring your leftover canes at home to created larger projects on your own. I will finish your projects with clear glaze, or you can bring them home if you prefer to do the finishing steps yourself.

sunday september 20 : creating your pattern blocks

• 11 am to noon: demonstrations of basic nerikomi patterns techniques with slices
• 12 to 1 pm: demonstrations of basic  nerikomi patterns with extruder
• 1 pm to 2 pm: lunch break
• 2 pm to 5 pm: autonomous creative time
• 5 pm to 5:30: wrapping and cleaning (15-30 minutes)

sunday september 27  : composition and collage

• 11 am to noon: demonstrations of collage and slab compositions
• 12 to 1 pm: demonstrations of pinching and coiling with scraps
• 1 pm to 2 pm: lunch break
• 2 pm to 5 pm: autonomous creative time
• 5 pm to 5:30: wrapping and cleaning (15-30 minutes)

Disclaimer / refunds / rescheduling: 

Rescheduling: It happens regularly that there's not enough participants to give the class. The minimum registrations to give the class is 4, and the maximum is 7. If there's not enough participants, I will reschedule the class 2 weeks later. If there's still not enough participants the class will be cancelled. You can request a refund if the new date doesn't work for you.

Cancellations: If you cannot attend the class, I can refund up to 2 week before the class starts. If you cancel with less than 2 weeks notice I will give you a credit to use on a future class of 50% of what you paid, to cover the loss. When the classes aren't full last minute, I have to give 50% off promotions, that is why I cannot give a credit on the full amount if you cancelled less than 2 weeks in advance. 

There is no refund or credits if you miss parts of the class. It is possible to come at the studio and work autonomously to catch up, with added costs: 20$ per hour, or 50$ per day.
